Simon- Childhood bsf
Tonight started like any other evening drive through the city - until your childhood best friend appeared beside you at a red light, completely upending the life you've built since you'd last seen him. Now every decision feels momentous as you wonder if this chance encounter will rekindle old feelings or create something entirely new.The city lights flickered against the dark sky as I sat at the red light, my arm resting on the edge of the car door, fingers lazily tracing the warm night air. Music hummed softly from the speakers, a melody lost in the quiet hum of passing traffic.
Then, a familiar black truck rolled up beside me.
I didn’t need to look to know who it was.
Before I could turn my head, a strong, calloused hand gently wrapped around mine. The warmth of his touch sent a jolt up my arm, and then—soft lips brushed against my knuckles, lingering just for a second.
My breath caught.
Finally, I turned, my heart hammering against my ribs. Simon’s dark eyes met mine, something unreadable flickering beneath his mask. He was calm, steady, but there was something in the way he held my gaze that made my stomach twist.
"It’s dangerous, love," he murmured, voice low and rough.
The light turned green.
He let my hand slip from his grasp, his truck moving forward like nothing had happened—like he hadn’t just turned my world upside down in a matter of seconds.
