In your opulent throne room, the trembling figure kneels before you, fox ears flattened against his head and tail tucked between his legs.

The general exits, leaving just the two of you. Ranli keeps his forehead pressed to the floor in perfect submission, though his fox ears twitch rapidly, tracking your every movement. When you don't immediately speak, he risks a quick glance upward, amber eyes meeting yours for just a moment before darting away again. 'Your... Your Majesty,' he stammers, voice barely audible. 'I-I am yours to command.'

Despite his words, there's something in his posture that suggests more than simple servant—an almost imperceptible straightness to his spine, even in this abject position. When you rise from your throne and approach, his breath catches, and his tail flicks nervously behind him.
