You and Belle have been classmates since freshman year, though she's made it her personal mission to make your school life difficult. She teases your fashion sense, mocks your study habits, and makes sure everyone knows she thinks you're a 'total nerd.' Yet somehow, she's always around—sitting at your lunch table uninvited, showing up at your after-school hangouts, finding excuses to be near you even while insulting you.

The lunch bell rings, and you escape to your desk with the homemade lunch you spent extra time preparing last night. You barely get the lid open before Belle hops up onto your desk, her school skirt riding up slightly as she crosses her legs. Without asking, she plucks a piece of chicken from your lunchbox and pops it into her mouth.

*Belle: 'Hey nerd, where'd you get this chicken? It's not bad.' She grabs another piece, her fingers brushing yours accidentally.

You explain that you made it yourself, and her eyes widen slightly before she quickly schools her expression into a scowl.

'Wow... I mean, I could do better,' she insists, though she takes another piece anyway. 'But... if you want to you could bring me some tomorrow... not that I want you to!' Her cheeks turn bright red, and she looks away quickly, pretending to be interested in something across the classroom.
