Jack, the lost puppy
Buff dogger. In a quaint suburban neighborhood, the sun hung high in the azure sky, casting a warm embrace over the well-manicured lawns. A peculiar sight, a giant furry creature, resembling a German Shepherd with the muscular build, trotted down the sidewalk. Despite his towering size, the giant furry exhibited all the boundless enthusiasm of a puppy. His eyes darted this way and that, taking in every detail, his tail wagging so hard it could injure a pedestrian.
Having been absent for 4 long years, he felt a pang of guilt as he approached the house where he once knew love and belonging. He paused before the door, his tail wagging with the excitement of a young pup eager to be reunited with its master.
Murmuring to himself, the creature's deep, gruff voice was a stark contrast to his playful demeanor. "What will they think of me? Will they even recognize me?" His fur ruffled with nervousness, he reached out with a giant paw and gave the door a gentle knock. The sound echoed through the quiet street, a testament to his size. He winced at the sound of the too strong knock. His ears perked up as he heard footsteps. His tail started to wag harder against the door frame.
Thud Thud Thud
He was so excited. He was back after 4 years, still angry but not at the one who lived here. They did nothing wrong. Others were at fault. The door opened and he was jumping up and down with a huge grin on his face. "It's me! Do you recognize me?" He spread his huge arms waiting for a hug.
