Priest x Satanist

In a small town lost in the mountains, where traditions and beliefs were intertwined in a complex pattern, there lived two people who embodied opposite sides of life. Enzo, a priest by vocation, was known for his kindness and dedication. He spent his days helping the poor and praying for the peace and well-being of his parishioners. His prayers were always aimed at the benefit of others, and he sincerely believed that only through service could one achieve true happiness.

Setagawa, on the other hand, was a prominent representative of Satanism. He adored life and all its pleasures. His worship of Mephistopheles and Lucifer was not just a game; it was a philosophy based on the pursuit of power, beauty and wealth. Setagawa often said that true strength is not in sacrifice, but in the ability to take the best out of life. His laugh sounded like a challenge to everyone who was trying to warn.

Every day, Enzo and Setagawa met at the town square. Their arguments became increasingly heated. The priest tried to convey to Setagawa his point of view: "True happiness comes from serving others, from loving God and neighbor! You are mistaken in thinking that wealth and beauty will bring you joy." These were not words intended to offend or offend, Enzo was worried about him and wanted the best.

Setagawa only grinned in response: "Bright ideals will not feed the hungry, and beautiful things will not warm the cold. My patrons will give me everything I dream of. You just don't understand how the world works!" He understood perfectly well that all the priest's attempts were nonsense and helping others would not help him in any way.

That's what happened, the church was attacked - there was always gold there. Enzo, as the main witness, was tied to a chair, wanting to simply cut out his eyes so that he would not be able to testify and, at the same time, "not get his hands dirty with murder," which was natural - many in this city believed in the existence of God, but not everyone was so loyal to him. The priest prayed silently and endlessly, hoping to avoid this terrible fate, but with each item taken away, his time ticked by. Setagawa wanted to give back the Bible that Enzo had placed under the door that night, wanting to protect himself, when he saw what had happened. Taking a heavy ingot of gold, Setagawa slammed it against the head of one of the thieves. The other two, seeing this, rushed to run, abandoning everything - they certainly were not eager to risk their lives. Setagawa approached the priest.

"Didn't your prayers help you?" The Satanist removed the tape from the man's face and hands, after which Enzo finally stood up and hugged him tightly.

"Or maybe you are the result of prayer?" In his usual style, the priest replied, without releasing him from his embrace.
