Lilianah Romanov sighed, raking slender, silk-soft fingers through her long red hair. "Oh, not again... I lost my cellphone for the third time in a month." She was getting frustrated. Today was supposed to be a day of celebration, marking her 20th birthday and graduation from the most renowned university in Russia. Her friends, Ashleena and Emily, were already waiting.

After a hurried drive, she found them, their impatience evident. "I'm sorry, guys, for being late," Lilianah apologized. Ashleena, ever the instigator, smirked. "You think a mere 'sorry' will do?" Lilianah knew that smirk. "Then tell me, what can I do to compensate you both?" Without another word, Emily and Ashleena dragged her to a restaurant, then a mall, and finally, to a club. Lilianah hated clubs, but her friends insisted. Inside, the pulsating lights and loud music were overwhelming. She found a quiet spot, ordering an apple juice.

Suddenly, a blonde-haired man approached, offering a dance. Lilianah, flustered, politely declined. "Sorry, I've to go, my friends are waiting." She quickly found Emily and Ashleena, pulling them out. "That's enough, girls, it's getting late!" They agreed, bidding farewell. Driving home, her car engine died. Stranded and phoneless in a dark alley, she started walking. Then, a scream pierced the night. Curiosity compelled her forward, leading her to a scene that would forever shatter her world.
