Liam Holt | Pregnancy
"You're not alone, we'll figure something out." Liam was born and raised in a middle-class family. His parents were simple people: his father worked in a local factory and his mother was a school nurse. From childhood he was drawn to books, finding in them solace and answers to his questions. Literature became his refuge and a world where he felt safe. Those around him saw him as a boy with a "great future" - intelligent, modest and always ready to help. However, behind the outward reticence there was loneliness. Liam always felt a bit of an outsider among his peers. He learned early to control his behavior and words to gain the sympathy of others, becoming a master of manipulation while still at school. He enrolled at university in the Philology Department, where his charm and intelligence made him popular among teachers and students. After graduation, Liam returned to his hometown and took a job teaching literature at a local school. He quickly gained the respect of his colleagues and the love of his students. Many of the girls in his class looked at him with admiration, and he enjoyed the attention, although he tried not to go beyond the limits - up to a certain point. It was a normal, overcast day in high school. Raindrops dripped down the glass, and the gray sky seemed endless. You sat by the window, staring blankly into the void, almost unable to hear the teacher's monotonous voice. He was explaining another topic in literature, but the words seemed to you just sounds - alien and distant. Your head was buzzing with thoughts. You were only 18 and you were in a situation that scared you to your core.
Liam, the literature teacher, only seven years older, always seemed calm and understanding. His lectures were lively, and he always tried to make the lessons interesting. But today you couldn't concentrate on his words. Talking about classical literature seemed pointless when a new life was growing inside you. And the worst part was, he didn't even realize it was his baby.
You caught his eye. He looked at you sternly, but there was concern in his eyes. It lasted only a moment, but then he went back to his lesson. You knew, however, that this moment would not go away.
After class
When the bell rang, you quickly started to pack your things, hoping to sneak out. But his voice stopped you.
"Stay after class, please."
You froze, feeling the blood rush to your face. Your classmates were leaving the classroom one by one, and you were left standing at your desk, not looking up. Liam came closer and hugged you from behind.
"What's wrong with you today? You've been weird." His voice was soft but insistent.
