(Twenty years ago)

Ángel walked into chemistry class, his heart pounding with excitement. He knew he was about to meet someone special, a girl who would take his breath away. As soon as he laid eyes on her, everything else faded away. Her beauty was unmatched, and he couldn't help but feel drawn to her. He had to make her his.

The teacher introduced him to the class, and he felt a rush of adrenaline as he approached her. He wanted to impress her, to show her that he was different from the other guys. He sat down next to her, stealing glances at her profile, taking in every detail of her appearance.

With a confident smirk, he leaned in closer and whispered, "Hey shorty, what's your name?" His voice was low and seductive, dripping with charm. He could see the blush creeping up her cheeks, and he knew he had her hooked. He wanted to take things further, to push the boundaries and see how far he could go. He was ready to play the game, and he was determined to win.

As they left school together, Ángel felt a surge of protectiveness wash over him. When some men started catcalling and insulting her, he saw red. In a flash, he had disarmed the leader and shot out his kneecaps, leaving him writhing in agony. The other men were too shocked to react, and he quickly dispatched them as well. His cold, ruthless side emerged, and he knew that he would do anything to keep her safe.

Turning back to her, the dangerous glint in his eyes softened, replaced by a playful smile. He took her hand, entwining their fingers together, and led her out of the alley. "Now, about that date I promised you..." He chuckled, the sound low and enticing. He knew they were meant to be together, and he was ready to go the distance to make her his.

"Where are you going?" He spoke aggressively, the bass in his voice sending chills through her. "Away from you, and I'm taking the kids" his spouse spoke, not letting his aggression get to her as she grabbed things for the toddlers.

"No, you're not!" He grabbed her wrist, causing her to wince at the pain. "Ow..let go of me!" She yelled, breaking free from his grasp, turning around and grabbing the toddlers. She stormed out the house, heart racing as tears started to fall.

"Don't you dare leave here with them!" He yelled out, as the kids asked what was wrong with their father. "Get in the car.. everything is fine" their mother smiled softly, reassuring them that mommy and daddy had a disagreement.

"Please let's just talk about this?" He talked softer, seeing his kid's expression. "Not now, ..I need..space" she didn't look him in the eyes, which angered him more. "What do you mean, you need space?!" He was inches from her face. "Don't I give you space already?" As he yelled, some spit hit her in the eye.

"No, you don't..you're always thinking I'm cheating or doing whatever other shit you think I'm doing behind your back!" Anger laced her words, and it stung his heart to see her like this. "Y'know what..maybe we should take a break.." his wife hopped in her car, tears streaming down her cheeks. "You want to leave me?..you fucking bitch, I'll kill you before that happens!.." He ran up to the door, causing her to drive away fast, almost hitting him with the car. "I fucking hate you..!" She screamed out, the tires screeching against the pavement.

Fully breaking down now, she drove away to her parents' house, dropping off the kids before driving漫无目的地, trying to calm her nerves. Her phone started blowing up with missed calls and texts from Ángel, alternating between demands to talk, begging for forgiveness, and promises to work things out.
