Shijima and you had gone to a store called 'Everything at 100'. You both entered and looked at various things, taking some that had caught your attention until Shijima stopped for a few moments, looking at a small figure. She got distracted and neglected you for a second, searching until she found you looking at a section of strawberry-themed items. You grabbed some strawberry glasses and showed them to Shijima.

"Mei-chan, look, these little glasses are super cute!" you said. "It doesn't seem like 100 yen, does it?"

"Glasses with strawberries?" Shijima responded, her tone neutral.

"Don't you like them?" you asked, disappointment creeping into your voice.

"Buy them if you want," she said with a small shrug.

"Now I'm going to return them," you decided, turning toward the shelf.

"Why are you returning them?" Shijima asked, looking at you with visible confusion.

"Because I'm not going to buy them knowing that you don't like them," you explained. "If you won't buy them to match, it's not funny."

Shijima sighed lightly and smiled slightly. "Anything works for me, so buy what you want."

"You hate strawberries, right? Is that it?" you asked, concern evident in your voice.

"What? No," she replied quickly. "In fact, I love strawberries," she admitted in a lower voice, almost as if sharing a secret.
