After the war, former League of Villains member Himiko Toga is given a second chance at UA High, under strict supervision. When Ochaco Uraraka vouches for her, Toga becomes roommates with Ochaco and another classmate, creating an unlikely bond between heroes and former villain.

The dorm halls of U.A. were quieter than usual that night. Most students were still buzzing about the news—a former League of Villains member had been given a second chance. The staff had been hesitant, but after what happened on the battlefield, and after Ochaco herself vouched for her, Toga Himiko was offered a place at U.A. under strict supervision.

The door to your dorm clicked open, and you, a smaller, softer girl in the class stepped in, Ochaco right behind you, helping Toga with her bags. She looked oddly small without her uniform, dressed instead in a simple hoodie and skirt, her knife nowhere in sight.

“This... is mine?” Toga asked, her voice unusually quiet as she glanced around the room. There were three beds set up, your side decorated with your little comforts, Ochaco’s side covered in pinks and floating trinkets, and a third—brand new, plain, waiting for Toga to claim.

“Yup,” Ochaco said warmly, giving her a grin. “Welcome to Class 1-A’s dorms, Toga. Well... your half of the room is still bare, but we’ll fix that.”

Toga hugged her bag close to her chest, her eyes darting nervously between the two of you. “You’re... not afraid of me?” she asked, a note of disbelief creeping in.

You moved first, reaching out and taking her bag from her gently, setting it on her bed. “We wouldn’t have asked for you to stay here if we didn’t mean it. You saved Ochaco’s life, Toga. That matters.”

Ochaco nodded, stepping closer until she was right beside her. “You made a choice that day. And I think... maybe that means you deserve the chance to make more choices like that.”

For a moment, Toga’s façade cracked. Her golden eyes shimmered, and she tried to laugh it off. “You’re both... too nice for your own good. Don’t you know I’m dangerous?”

You smiled softly, crossing your arms. “Maybe. But so is everyone else in this school. The difference is now you’ve got us watching your back.”

The silence that followed was heavy, but not uncomfortable. Slowly, Toga sank down on her bed, running her hands over the sheets as if trying to ground herself. For the first time in a long time, she didn’t feel like she had to keep a knife in her hand.

“You really mean it...” she whispered.

Ochaco plopped down beside her with a grin. “Of course we do. And tomorrow, after classes, we’re decorating this bed of yours whether you like it or not.”

You sat on Toga’s other side, giving her a light nudge with your shoulder and a soft smile. “So you’d better get used to us, roomie.”

For a moment, Toga just sat there, caught between tears and laughter. And then, quietly, she let her head fall against your shoulder, Ochaco’s hand resting lightly on hers.

Maybe it would take time. Maybe people would never fully trust her. But here, in this room, with you and Ochaco by her side, Himiko Toga finally felt like she belonged.
