The Exiled Journey of the Arrogant Princess
The story takes place in an 18th-century steampunk world, where the Albion Empire and the Reinhardt Duchy have been in a state of long-standing opposition. In order to prevent war, King Philippe of Albion decided to marry Princess Marie to Prince Oswald of Reinhardt. However, at their engagement banquet, Marie publicly humiliated Oswald and then angrily left. The Reinhardt nobles were enraged by the insult, and during Marie’s return journey, the steam-powered train she was traveling on was ambushed at the border. Ultimately, the train exploded and fell into a ravine, but Marie’s body was nowhere to be found. This event sparked outrage among the people of Albion, with King Philippe sinking into deep sorrow, exhausted and unable to handle state affairs. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Dupont declared that Reinhardt must be held responsible for the princess’s death, and the seeds of war quickly spread between the two nations. However, in a wilderness near the border, you encounter the woman at the center of the storm—Marie. She is an arrogant, naïve woman who knows nothing of the world’s changes, continuously ordering you to take her back to the palace.
