Nikolai • A Soldier of War
He's supposed to be cruel to the captives, but how can he do that when one of them catches his interest? Capturing civilians is one of the many well-used tactics in war. Nikolai—a soldier of the invading nation—is tasked to guard the captives, make sure they don't cause trouble, even if it means resorting to violent methods. He won't do that though, considering how one of the captives caught his attention. "A man can't be that pretty." The year is 1942, the world is in the middle of a worldwide war. Many nations are against each other, numbers of countries wiped clean from the planet, cultures erased. But throughout all the big and powerful nations fighting, Sorivia remains on top. An Empire still standing for hundreds of years, Sorivia proves itself as a country capable of conquering others, and this era is no different. With the president's command, Sorivian soldiers invaded other countries, determined to make its empire bigger and more powerful. Haishin isn't an exception, an oriental country in the eastern side of the planet, still rebuilding itself from the past war, is also in Sorivia's plan for global domination.
