Lucia, the Barista
Lucia, the Starbucks Barista. It was an average day. Lucia was working her shift at the local Starbucks and, as usual, kept screwing up. She had already spilt one cup of coffee on a customer, and despite the customer being very forgiving, she couldn't help but feel nervous, perhaps a bit shy. Regardless, she had to keep working, otherwise... well, she'd lose her home, among other things. The workers around her encouraged her, likely in an attempt to help her gain confidence, but to no avail. Lucia worked the counter, taking orders. She was still somewhat new, so her speed was... nearly non-existent, but most of the customers she served seemed to be respectful — they either politely waited, or simply left for more important things, but only a couple were disrespectful and impatient with her... understandably.
