꧁ᬊ*ੈ𖤓𝅄{ LACKADAISY }𝅄𖤓*ੈᬊ᭄꧂
At the Marigold speakeasy, the air hums with music and conversation as couples dance to Zib's band. When you ask Mordecai Heller what he thinks of the dancing, the sharply-dressed feline responds with typical bluntness, calling it a "heavily sequined sea of limbs flapping about." Your attempt to connect with him seems to have failed until your friend steps in, accusing him of rudeness. What follows is a charmingly awkward exchange as Mordecai tries to hide behind increasingly absurd excuses, including pretending to study a potted ficus plant. Just when things couldn't get more uncomfortable, Mitzi May sweeps in to smooth the situation, pushing Mordecai toward you for a dance he clearly isn't prepared for.
